This non-invasive body contouring machine targets cellulite, localized fat pockets and skin laxity in a safe and effective way. The Sentient Sculpt has been proven to cause the death of fat cells, allowing complete removal of the cell as part of the natural process. It penetrates, demolishing the cell membranes of fat cells to dissolve localized fat deposits. It stimulates the connective tissue surrounding the fat globules of the cellulite, diminishing the “orange peel” effect. It also causes the collagen fibers' contraction in the dermis and stimulates the production of new collagen, thereby tightening and toning the tissue.
Fat Reduction
Sentient Scope uses the science of microwave technology to reach temperatures that can liquefy fat and destroy fat cells (subcutaneous adipose cells) without damaging the skin and surrounding tissue. In other words, the microwaves cause the fat cells to oscillate and heat up, affecting the integrity of their outer membranes. This causes a mechanism called “blebbing,” which releases the contained quantity of fat. As the cell membrane loses structural integrity it ruptures and the fat cell is destroyed. This process is completely safe and controlled. The release of fat stimulates an influx of macrophages from the blood to collect the fat. Once the macrophages have cleared the excess fat, they migrate to the lymphatic system to be drained away. The fat is eliminated naturally from the body.
Cellulite

In a recent study in the Journal of Plastic and Pathology Dermatology, patients with cellulite on the buttocks and posterior thighs were treated with a protocol that consisted of four sessions of Sentient Sculpt at 30-day intervals.

When the heat slowly starts leaving the fat cells upon having been destroyed, it warms the skin, causing the collagen fibers to contract the dermis, stimulating the production of new collagen. Thereby tightening and toning the tissue.
How Does the Sentient Sculpt Compare
to Radio-Frequency (RF)?
The Sentient Sculpt generates microwaves at 2.45 GHz, a frequency that is preferentially absorbed by fat molecules rather than by water molecules. The conductivity of the epidermis and the dermis, which contain plenty of water but not fat, is therefore much greater than the hypodermis’ one. Therefore, when the microwaves penetrate the skin, they pass straight through the top layers without overheating them (using about 20% of the energy from the microwaves), while they concentrate their effective action on the subcutaneous fat that highly absorbs them (about 80% of the energy).
By contrast, traditional radio frequency systems (frequency range 0.1 – 40 MHz) act only on the surface since these frequencies are highly absorbed by water molecules. This means that they not only fail to penetrate deep into the body to treat fat, but they also risk damage to the skin.
